On Wednesday September 14th myself and 5 of the clubhouse members took a bus with others from The Oakland Community Mental Health. we headed out to the Walk a Mile in my Shoes rally in Lansing Michigan. Our yearly rally was once again held at the state capital. We were joined with other members from all counties across Michigan to participant together at the walk a mile in my shoes. We came together to bring awareness to Mental Health and to share what our daily lives look like; so that others in Michigan know what Mental Health is, there were law makers there along with other organizations to help support the cause. I was so excited to see nearly 1000 people joining for the event.
